COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) Cleaning Support for Hotels
This scheme supports third-party cost of professional cleaning services incurred by Singapore-licensed hotels that have provided accommodation to suspected and confirmed COVID-19 case(s).
This scheme is open to all Singapore-licensed hotels that have provided accommodation for suspected and confirmed COVID-19 case(s).
Qualifying Costs must be incurred and paid between 23 Jan 2020 and 30 Apr 2020 (both dates inclusive).
Only third-party cost of professional cleaning services is supportable. Applicants are recommended to refer to NEA’s website for the “Interim Guidelines for Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection of Areas Exposed to Confirmed Case(s) of COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) in Non-Healthcare Commercial Premises”, including the list of cleaning companies that can carry out disinfection works.
Costs incurred means that cleaning services must have been procured and carried out between 23 Jan 2020 and 30 Apr 2020. In addition, all payments must be completed between 23 Jan 2020 and 30 Apr 2020 (both dates inclusive).
LEVEL OF SUPPORT
Subject to STB’s assessment, successful applicants will receive funding support as follows:
- Suspected COVID-19 cases: Up to 50% of third-party qualifying costs, capped at S$10,000 per application.
- Confirmed COVID-19 cases: Up to 50% of third-party qualifying costs, capped at S$20,000 per application.
Each application will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
To qualify, applications must reach STB by 30 Apr 2020.

2) For approval of the grant, the original hardcopies of the completed and signed application form, along with the supporting documents (please refer to the application form) must be sent to STB at:

DISBURSEMENT OF GRANT
Grant will be disbursed to successful applicants on a reimbursement basis, subject to STB’s assessment of eligibility.
