Dear Singapore Travel Industry Partner,
1) STB India's MICE Event in Mumbai (14 January 2019);
2) South Asian Trade and Travel Exhibition (SATTE), New Delhi (16 Jan to 18 Jan 2019)
Greetings from Singapore Tourism Board (STB) India Regional Office!
As part of STB India's trade engagement strategy, we have planned for the above MICE event and SATTE 2019 to reach out to the travel trade intermediaries as well as create a single platform involving industry partners from both Singapore and India to conduct product update sessions and facilitate business networking opportunities.
STB India has had tremendous support from our Singapore stakeholders and Indian counterparts for the trade roadshows organised across the various cities in India over the past years. In 2018, STB conducted roadshows in 10 cities including tier 2 cities and saw a good turnout of local agents and Singapore stakeholders convening to promote and drive travel business to Singapore.
India is a key source market for Singapore Tourism registering a positive growth year-on-year. To sustain this positive market growth, it is important we continue to deepen engagement with our trade partners.
We would like to invite you to join us for the MICE event in Mumbai and SATTE 2019 in Delhi, with the key objectives:
a. To provide an overview of the new Singapore Tourism Board's unified brand of "Passion Made Possible" and the global launch events, activations and to collaborate with trade partners to promote brand-related travel packages to Singapore.
b. To heighten and strengthen the awareness of Singapore as a compelling leisure and MICE destination, by encouraging the trade to update their product itineraries with the latest products and offerings available in Singapore.
c. To increase Singapore trade partners' business opportunities by building networks and reinforcing relationships in the key markets across India.
d. To get in-market feedback from the trade and better understand the needs of the travelers from different regions/cities across India, as this will enable us to develop and customize the product offering and packages to the different regions.
Please note that there will be a maximum limit of two (2) representatives per organisation at both the MICE event and SATTE 2019.
There is no participation fee for the MICE event in Mumbai.
