Cleaning and Maintenance Works Scheduled for Main Merlion Statue at Merlion Park - 29 July to 2 August 2024

Singapore, 5 July 2024– The Singapore Tourism Board would like to inform the public that the main Merlion statue at the Merlion Park will be undergoing cleaning and maintenance works from 29 July to 2 August 2024.

While these works are in progress, the main Merlion statue will be covered in scaffolding and will not be available for photo-taking. Meanwhile, the public is welcome to take photos with the nearby Merlion cub statue at the Merlion Park.

We seek the public’s understanding as the works and barricades may cause some inconvenience during this period.
