Main Merlion statue at Merlion Park to undergo regular cleaning

Singapore, 14 January 2021 – The Singapore Tourism Board would like to inform the public that due to recent inclement weather conditions, cleaning and maintenance works on the main Merlion statue at the Merlion Park will now be scheduled to take place on the week starting from 16 January 2021.

While these works are in progress, the main Merlion statue will be hoarded up and will not be available for photo-taking.

We seek the public’s understanding as the works and barricades may cause some inconvenience during this period.
