Main Merlion statue set to undergo overnight cleaning works

Singapore, 23 August 2021 – The Singapore Tourism Board would like to inform the public that the main Merlion statue at the Merlion Park will undergo overnight routine cleaning and maintenance works from 26 – 28 August 2021.

While these works are in progress, the main Merlion statue will be hoarded up and will not be available for photo-taking.

We seek the public’s understanding as the works and barricades may cause some inconvenience during this period.
