Routine cleaning works for main Merlion statue at Merlion Park postponed

Singapore, 3 September 2021 – The Singapore Tourism Board would like to inform the public that cleaning and maintenance works on the main Merlion statue at the Merlion Park will be postponed to 6 – 8 September 2021. The maintenance works, which were originally scheduled for 26 – 28 August, will be conducted overnight.

While these works are in progress, the main Merlion statue will be hoarded up and will not be available for photo-taking.

We seek the public’s understanding as the works and barricades may cause some inconvenience during this period.
