Singapore to host international debut of D.Desirable Pop-up Store by Dylan Wang at ION Orchard, featuring an exclusive Singapore-inspired collection.

Singapore, 29 January 2026 — Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is partnering with Chinese actor and fashion brand founder Dylan Wang to debut the international launch of his D.Desirable pop-up store at ION Orchard, from 30 January to 25 February 2026. The pop-up will feature an exclusive collection inspired by Dylan's experiences in Singapore last October, when he was also invited to attend the F1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2025. His distinctive Singapore experiences and creative journey are captured in a 3-episode documentary series, which showcases how he transformed his exploration of the city into this unique D.Desirable collection.
Collaboration with Singaporean Illustrator – Ah Guo
In conjunction with this international debut in Singapore, Dylan Wang will launch the "D.Desirable × Ah Guo Singapore Limited Edition Collection", a joint creation with Singaporean illustrator Ah Guo (Lee Kow Fong). This exclusive Singapore-inspired collection, featuring items ranging from T-shirts and canvas bags to blind boxes, will be sold at the store, allowing visitors and fans to bring home a piece that showcases the charm of Singapore’s local culture. In addition to the pop-up store, there will be themed outdoor installations on the ground floor of ION Orchard, offering visitors an immersive brand experience.
During Dylan’s exploration of Singapore, he was deeply inspired by the local culture and made a special visit to Ah Guo, who is known for his watercolour artwork depicting everyday scenes and people in Singapore, alongside his series of animal characters. These elements resonated deeply with Dylan's vision for his fashion brand and their synergies produced this limited-edition collection.
This collection features Ah Guo’s signature whimsical illustration style through interactions between his animal characters and D.Desirable’s IP characters from D.FA.MILY. Dylan’s inspiration is captured through three pieces of artwork, his first encounter with Singapore’s iconic Merlion, the vibrant Peranakan shophouses, and the relaxed vibes at the street basketball courts. These pieces not only convey the brand concept of “play n be real”, but also showcases Singapore’s multiculturalism and urban vibrancy.
A Journey Through Singapore’s Multifaceted Sights
The documentary series, launched on 27 December 2025, showcases Dylan’s journey of inspiration through Singapore’s nature and urbanscape as well as multicultural heritage and arts, and how these translate into the creative language of D.Desirable.
The close encounters with the lively animals at River Wonders and Bird Paradise at Mandai, nestled in lush greenery captured the balance between vitality and tranquillity, which is embedded in the core design concept of D.Desirable. The understanding of Peranakan culture through every brick and tile in the Katong-Joo Chiat neighbourhood and the hands-on experience in making a traditional pastry at Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh in Bugis allowed Dylan to appreciate Singapore’s local heritage and craftsmanship. Inside a traditional shophouse, The Coconut Club presents Singapore’s traditional dish, nasi lemak, with a modern take, while an impromptu basketball game in the Duxton neighbourhood strikes a chord with the D.Desirable’s street culture.
“Singapore is truly a place full of unexpected surprises around every corner – within minutes, one can step seamlessly from modern architecture to traditional shophouses with deep-rooted heritage, and the next moment from vibrant urban streets to lush green spaces,” Dylan shared. “Every visit unlocks fresh discovery. The sights and sounds of Singapore, as well as the warmth and passion of the people, never fail to inspire me. Bringing D.Desirable here to Singapore feels absolutely right."
“We are delighted that Dylan Wang has chosen Singapore as the international launchpad for his D.Desirable pop-up and to witness how he has channelled his rich Singapore experiences into this distinctive collection,” said Oliver Chong, STB’s Assistant Chief Executive of International Group. “We hope Singapore will continue to ignite creativity and empower global talents and brands to realise their international growth ambitions. At the same time, we will continue to work with brand owners like Dylan to tell Singapore’s story through a more authentic lens that resonates with audiences, inspiring more international visitors to come and discover our city.”

About D.Desirable
Founder Dylan, driven by his affection for fashion and, meticulously observed and learned from his encounters with fashion and street culture since his debut. In his quest for distinctive styles, he birthed D.DESIRABLE – a name that fuses the capital 'D' derived from his name's pinyin "棣" and the word 'Desirable.' This name encapsulates Wang's aspirational vision for the brand: every creation aims to delight, embodying desirability and worthiness.
