HOTEL LICENCE

Any premises renting out 4 rooms or more to guests staying less than 7 days would need to possess a valid hotel licence issued by the Singapore Hotels Licensing Board (HLB) to operate such a business.

Persons interested in providing guiding services for remuneration in Singapore must possess a General Tourist Guide licence.

Companies or persons in the business of making travel arrangements or conducting tours in or outside of Singapore are required to apply for a Travel Agent Licence.

CRUISE TERMINAL LICENCE

Any person who operates a cruise terminal must hold a valid cruise terminal licence. The cruise terminal licences granted under Section 29B(3)(a) of the Singapore Tourism Board Act are listed in the table below.
