Business Events in Singapore (BEiS)
The Business Events in Singapore (BEiS) scheme seeks to encourage the business events industry to anchor and grow quality events as well as catalyse the innovation of new content. It also supports activities that will build the foundation towards bringing events into Singapore in the long term.
The BEiS is open to all businesses /companies or associations in the Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector.
Eligible projects include:
1) Hosting of business events in Singapore
Proposed events should fall under one of the following categories:
- Association Conventions
- Corporate Activities
- Incentive Travel
- Trade Conferences
2) Pre-event activities such as
- business and capability development initiatives jointly undertaken by association and industry players to promote Singapore's business event offerings
- conducting of market feasibility studies
- bidding activities.
Successful applicants will receive funding support for third-party qualifying costs, subject to the scope of the project and SECB's evaluation of the merits of the project.
Examples of project qualifying costs include third-party professional services, content development, marketing, bidding activities, etc.
Proposed events will be assessed based on the following factors:
- Delegate profile (foreign visitorship).
Interested applicants are requested to contact SECB (a group of the Singapore Tourism Board) for more information.
Applicants are advised to discuss the proposed project with the officer-in-charge prior to making a formal application. Formal applications must be made on prescribed application forms and submitted to SECB.
Project should not commence prior to SECB's offer of the grant. Applicants are encouraged to contact SECB in advance of project commencement.

DISBURSEMENT OF GRANT
Grants will be disbursed to successful applicants on a reimbursement basis, subject to achievement of the agreed project deliverables and milestones. Applicants are required to submit third-party audited documents on qualifying costs for the disbursement of grants, unless otherwise stated.
