This year, STB will partner Glow Festival to present “Glow Festival by Prudential” as its anchor event. Wellness Festival Singapore will also feature more than 120 wellness offerings over four weeks, from fitness and meditation workshops to arts and lifestyle experiences

Singapore, 18 April 2024 – Locals and visitors can look forward to a “glow-up” at this year’s Wellness Festival Singapore (WFS). Held from 21 June till 21 July, this year’s festival will run for four weeks, with more than 120 programmes from over 75 partners ranging from established to new wellness, lifestyle and hotel brands. These programmes will be located conveniently across six precincts islandwide, promoting physical, emotional and mental well-being.

For its third edition, the Singapore Tourism Board will be collaborating with Exceed Sports and Entertainment, founder of homegrown wellness event, Glow Festival, to present the WFS’s anchor event, “Glow Festival by Prudential”.

Key Highlights of Wellness Festival Singapore

The festival will feature key programmes as well as several large-scale activations in popular locations. These include:

Glow Festival by Prudential:   Returning for its third edition and taking the anchor role for WFS, Glow which will be held at Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza and Rain Oculus, from 5 to 21 July, will set the bar once more for immersive, interactive and transformative wellness experiences.

The signature Studio Space overlooking the Bay, together with an all-new Recovery Space, will host over 70 classes, workouts and workshops curated by Glow’s partners at lululemon and Pure International, featuring global ambassadors and local celebrity talent. This year’s festival will also see the launch of “Get into Strides With lululemon” which is a brand-new run experience and will be held every weekend morning at sunrise.

Other festival firsts include a mix of technology-led and sensory-rich wellness experiences. The Oracle by Alpha Wave is a one-of-a-kind light, sound and frequency therapeutic experience that enables relaxation and enhances focus and creativity. The future-focused Virtual Reality workout zone with Refract Technologies will deliver an intense virtual boxing and taekwondo experience, amongst others. Those seeking a quieter journey can head to the Bliss Room and enjoy the transformative effects of short form breath-work, meditation, and sound healing sessions. For creators of all ages there is Expressive Artmaking with Singapore-founded NGO Cloop, a sustainable fashion enterprise, together with local artists, where visitors can contribute to a special collective artwork and become immersed in the therapeutic benefits of the creative process. Festival-goers can also connect with family and friends at the Wellness themed F&B and Retail Bazaar. 

⦁ Live It Up! by CapitaLand: Locals and visitors can look forward to Live It Up!, CapitaLand’s signature Wellness and Community Festival, with an exciting array of over 90 wellness activities ranging from mass fitness workouts, mental wellness workshops, health-related fairs, and more across participating CapitaLand malls and workspace properties. This year, participate in the inaugural Live It Up! Community Run on 29 June and visit iconic CapitaLand buildings, filled with fun challenges suitable for groups of family and friends.

⦁ Gallery Wellness Special 2024 at National Gallery Singapore: The Gallery Wellness Special 2024 at National Gallery Singapore invites visitors to immerse themselves in a transformative experience from 21 June to 21 July 2024. This year's theme, Your Canvas, encourages reflection on personal development and growth through art. Over 10 carefully curated programs cater to individuals of all ages, offering unique opportunities to enhance personal well-being and creativity. Whether it is mindfully exploring artworks through Slow Art or expressing feelings through sticker art, participants will learn different ways to express and enrich their personal canvases. Entry is free for all, with select ticketed programs available for registration.

⦁ Where Mind & Body Connect by Marina Bay Sands: Launched earlier this year as part of the integrated resort’s renewed focus on wellness experiences for guests, “Where Mind & Body Connect” boasts a comprehensive wellness programme which aims to enhance the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being supporting guests on a wellness journey. The holistic range of activities includes Sound Meditation, Soul Flow, Pilates, HIIT, Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga. Locals and visitors are welcome to join the 60-minute classes held every morning at SkyPark Observation Deck, as they prioritise their well-being and enjoy a workout with a sky-high view in the middle of a bustling urban city. Hotel guests can also enjoy Aqua Fit exclusively at the Infinity Pool on selected mornings and evenings.

⦁ Wellness offerings at Orchard Road: Orchard Road will host various wellness offerings including bouldering, yoga, spinning, pilates at “Work Great on a Great Street” and “Wellness Month at Design Orchard” as well as a curated culinary experience with a focus on sustainability and wellness by “Culinary Sustainability & Wellness by Orchard Turn Retail Investment”.

Re-energise with unique wellness options

Besides the diverse range of wellness offerings at the festival, festival-goers can also look forward to new and innovative experiences of pursuing holistic wellness. 

For those seeking fun and adventure, TRIFECTA Singapore, a newcomer to the festival this year, will be offering programmes to introduce participants to its three board sports while emphasising how each revolves around the principles of mobility. These include an introduction to surfing exclusively for women, a workshop on learning how to surf, stretch and dive into the world of cold immersion recovery as well as learning how balance and mobility translates to the art of snowboarding. 

Participants who wish to bust a move or dance their troubles away can look forward to The Big Bollywood workout by Madame Tussauds Singapore, a Zumba dance session inspired from various Bollywood movies starring celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and many more. Alternatively, participants who prefer a slower pace can choose to create art in a calm and authentic manner and try their hands at painting on a wax object at their Paint Away! Mindfulness Art Jamming session by Madame Tussauds Singapore.

For those seeking mindfulness, COMO Shambala Singapore offers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy with Singapore’s first ever Hyperbaric Airpod™, – using a combination of oxygen and molecular hydrogen to rejuvenate both the mind and body. Festival goers who enjoy nature and walking trails can explore Singapore’s wildlife and local biodiversity at night with a naturalist guide at Bukit Batok Nature Park through the Immersive Forest Wildlife Exploration by the Untamed Paths or embark on a serene bumboat journey along the Singapore River with Serenity Sails @ Reflections by the River by Singapore River One, and engage in mindfulness techniques and guided imagery sessions for a calm and present mindset.  

Participants who prefer engaging in unique lifestyle activities at the festival can look forward to programmes such as The Night Ritual by Jo Malone London which focuses on mental wellness as it prepares guests for a proper good night’s rest by using a unique and novel ritual including a personalised relaxing routine using the brand’s skin products. Alternatively, they can also try their hands at making their own spice granola bars with a Singaporean twist at DIY Spice Granola Bars by City Sprouts.

WFS offerings are conveniently located across the country, within iconic precincts and close to public transport. These allow participants to easily access wellness experiences while exploring Singapore.
